According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Woodside was cited by an officer for driving more than 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. The paper reported Woodside took a breath test which showed a blood-alcohol content of .112, above Kentucky’s legal limit of .08.

Woodside, the all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns at UT, was selected by the Bengals in the seventh round of the NFL draft in April. He currently is one of four quarterbacks on the Bengals’ roster.

At Toledo as a junior in 2016, Woodside passed for 4,129 yards and led the nation in touchdown passes with 45. As a senior, Woodside was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 3,882 yards and 28 touchdowns. He also won the Vern Smith Leadership Award given to the conference’s most outstanding player.

For his career, the Frankfort, Ky., native threw for 10,514 yards and 93 touchdowns with a 65.1 percent completion percentage.

The Bengals released a statement saying, “We are aware of the incident involving Logan Woodside and are gathering more information.”
