Bond for a South Toledo man accused a raping a woman at knife point was set Saturday, according to Toledo Municipal Court documents.
Rockie Goodwin, 31, of Hiett Avenue, is charged with rape, a first-degree felony, and a misdemeanor offense of obstructing official business.
Mr. Goodwin was present in Toledo Municipal Court Saturday with a public defender.
Toledo Municipal Court Judge Michelle Wagner set bond at $250,000. Mr. Goodwin was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Mr. Goodwin is accused of punching a woman multiple times Oct. 28 and causing her face to swell, according to court records, before raping her a knife point.
Mr. Goodwin was apprehended Thursday afternoon after he fled a vehicle that had been pulled over in the 600 block of Oak Street, court records show. He was captured after a brief chase.
Mr. Goodwin remained incarcerated as of Sunday in the Lucas County jail.
He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Friday.
