  • Tucked away on the edge of The Town Center at Levis Commons in Perrysburg is a bright, spacious coffee shop: The Flying Joe. And once you find it, you’ll also find lots of great deals for $5 or less that are perfect for Thrifty Thursday.

Top notch coffees, from drips to pour overs to cold brews, all come in under budget but taste much more expensive.

But you want a little something sweet to go with that coffee, right? Have no fear. The Flying Joe offers an array of goodies.

The Ohm-meal Cream Pie — a frosting-filled sandwich named after owners John and Becky Ohm — is a generous meal unto itself for only $3.50. (And since it contains an abundance of oats, you can tell yourself it’s health food.) The Banana Nutella Muffin also costs $3.50, and is so rich and decadent that you might just want to share, though you’ll be tempted to savor all of it yourself.

Grab a quick coffee and a treat to go, or linger with friends while enjoying your indulgence. Either way, The Flying Joe is friendly to both customers and their budgets.
