Boys Basketball: Bowling Green clips Springfield; Wauseon remains unbeaten

BOWLING GREEN 50, SPRINGFIELD 45

Bryce Hoehner and Isaac Elsasser both scored 18 points for the visiting Bobcats in Northern Lakes League boys basketball game on Thursday night.

Denzel Prince and Tyler Dave led the Blue Devils with 13 points apiece.

SOUTHVIEW 84, MAUMEE 43

Tehree Horn and Ryan Fries both scored 18 points, Jason Johnson added 10, and the Cougars (11-1, 5-0 NLL) won in Sylvania.

Ben Pacer led Maumee with 12 points. Garret White added 10.

WAUSEON 60, DELTA 34

WAUSEON — Austin Rotroff led the Indians with 18 points as Wauseon kept the Panthers off the scoreboard in the first quarter.

Bowen Green had 11 points for Delta, and Brady Wymer added 10 points.

EVERGREEN 58, BRYAN 39

METAMORA — The host Vikings (4-5, 1-0 Northwest Ohio Athletic League) conquered the Golden Bears thanks to a big night from Mason Loeffler (24 points). Evergreen led 24-13 at the half.

Evan Smith led Bryan (4-6, 0-1) with 17 points.

ARCHBOLD 53, SWANTON 28

SWANTON — Jeron Williams scored 12 points for the winners and Austin Wichken added 11.

PETTISVILLE 66, FAYETTE 42

FAYETTE — The Blackbirds (10-1, 7-0 Buckeye Border Conference) were powered by Logan Rufenacht and Detric Yoder, both of whom scored 12 points. 

Dillon King added 11 points and Sam Rychener netted 10.

Fayette (7-5, 4-3) was led by Noah Brinegar (14 points) and Porter Maginn (12).

WHITEFORD 69, MORENCI 41

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Hunter Blake scored 20 points and Jarred Fink added 14 points as the Bobcats improved to 6-2.

Rodney Zimmerman led Morenci (1-8) with nine points.
