Girls Basketball: Central, Rogers cruise

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 66, ANTHONY WAYNE 50

Grace Crawford finished with 14 points, leading Central Catholic to a girls basketball home victory Saturday night.

Jade Finfera added 13 points, Maverick Delp 11, and Dakari Parish-Baker 10 for the Irish (16-3).

Sam Schofield led the Generals with 13 points.

ROGERS 60, SPRINGFIELD 28

Zia Cooke scored 22 points and Madison Royal-Davis added 20 for the visiting Rams, who led 34-12 at halftime.

Mia Rose led the Blue Devils with seven points.

PERRYSBURG 48, WHITMER 42

Ashlynn Brown led with 15 points as the Yellow Jackets won in nonconference action.

Nadeen Jemaa had 11 points for Perrysburg (15-3), and Whitney Thames added 10.

Maddie Brown had a game-high 21 points for the Panthers (12-6).

ARCHBOLD — The Blue Streaks (17-1) finished on top as Blair Bucklew and Emie Peterson each scored 13 points. Kamryn Hostetler added 11 points.

Shae Pedroza had 12 points for the Wildcats (12-6), and Lexi Woods scored 10.

Ann Marie Juhasz and Myesha Barrett both scored 13 points to lead Waite (4-11).

Janiyah Foster led Cleveland JFK with 12 points.

FREMONT — Balanced scoring enabled the Streaks (16-2) to cruise to victory, as did a strong fourth quarter.

Adrienne Wehring led St. Joseph with 17 points. Kimmie Burns had 16 points, and Brooke Casperson added 14.

Hayley Freund and Brooke Allen each had 15 points for Woodmore (9-10).

OTSEGO 45, McCOMB 41

McCOMB — Brynne Limes scored 17 points in the fourth quarter — and all 22 of her points after halftime — to lead the Knights.

Malorie Schroeder led McComb with 13 points.

BLOOMDALE — Kayla Prigge scored 10 points, leading a balanced attack for the Patriots.

LIBERTY CENTER — Jerica Hollenbaugh had a game-high 18 points as the Tigers doubled up Ottawa Hills in a nonconference contest.

Ellie Westmeyer had six points to lead the Green Bears.

WEST UNITY — Kelsie Komisarek finished with 15 points, Savannah VanOstrand 12, Bailie Sutter 11, and Abi Borojevich 10 for the visiting Vikings. Morgyn Siegel led Hilltop with 10 points.
