Boys Basketball: Harris, St. Francis hold off Findlay

ST. FRANCIS 44, FINDLAY 35

Jackie Harris scored 15 points as the Knights (16-4, 10-2) won a home Three Rivers Athletic Conferece boys basketball game Saturday night.

Jacob Logsdon led Findlay (11-8, 5-6) with 14 points. Ryan Nunn added 12.

WHITMER 62, DEFIANCE 42

DEFIANCE — Riley Keller scored 16 points as the Panthers (14-5) broke open a first-quarter tie and outscored Defiance 18-8 in the second.

Tyrel Goings paced Defiance (6-12) with 11 points.

BOWLING GREEN 54, PERRYSBURG 47

Isaac Elsasser scored 20 of his 22 points in the middle two quarters, and Bryce Hoehner added 10 points for the visiting Bobcats (5-12, 5-6 Northern Lakes League).

Seth Morgan led Perrysburg (8-10, 5-6) with 16 points. Ben Boros added 12.

ROSSFORD 49, WOODMORE 32

ELMORE — Cam Reynolds scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs to a Northern Buckeye Conference road win. Rossford (7-11, 5-6 Northern Buckeye Conference) led 19-15 at halftime.

Woodmore (14-5, 7-5) was led by Mitchell Miller’s eight points.

LIBERTY-BENTON 58, ELMWOOD 56

BLOOMDALE — Austin May hit five 3-pointers, scored 32 points, and led the Eagles (5-13) to a road win.

Zach Weiss led Elmwood (6-11) with 22 points. Matthew Cline added 18.

MAUMEE VALLEY 84, DANBURY 44

Steve Coleman finished with 19 points as the Hawks rolled in Toledo Area Athletic Conference play.

Zeb Jackson added 13 points, A.J. Johnson had 12 points, and Parker Chatman contributed 11 for Maumee Valley (15-5, 9-2 TAAC).

Justin Tibbels had 17 points and Brad Pruitt 13 for Danbury (4-16, 2-9).

EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 56, MONCLOVA CHRISTIAN 42

Jailon Walker scored 17 points, and both Caden Williams and Gunnar Parmelee added 15 for the host Warriors (7-10).

Caleb Kynard led the Thunder (14-4) with 18 points. Luke Metzger had 15.

EVERGREEN 63, FAYETTE 57

FAYETTE — Mason Loeffler scored 20 points, Bryce Hudik added 15, Josh Dowling 12, and Nate Brighton 10 to lead the visiting Vikings (10-8).

Trey Keefer led Fayette (11-8) with 19 points. Clayton Pheils had 13.

PATRICK HENRY 47, HOLGATE 34

HOLGATE — Xavier Wensink scored 10 points and Christian Petersen 10 as the visiting Patriots (8-10) won.

Eight different players scored for Holgate (1-20).

PAULDING 68, LIBERTY CENTER 55

PAULDING — Fletcher Cook scored 15 points, and Marcus Miller and Ethan Rhonehouse added 14 points each, as Paulding won.

Austin Like led Liberty Center with 14 points, and Brady Gerken had 13 points. Camden Krugh added 10 points. 

PORT CLINTON 55, TIFFIN COLUMBIAN 50

PORT CLINTON — Sam Diaz finished with 11 points and Hunter Nolen 10 for Port Clinton (2-15).

Donnell Brockington led Columbian (3-16) with 14 points. Todd Simonds added 13 and Riley Sendelbach 10.

PETTISVILLE 58, HICKSVILLE 47

PETTISVILLE — Justin Rupp and Detric Yoder both scored 11 points for the host Blackbirds (17-2).

Payton Tunis led Hicksville (15-5) with 24 points. Landon Turnbull added 10.
