Award-winning filmmakers Micah Magee and Johan Carlsen will be auditioning for the lead roles in a fiction film titled DOTS to be shot this summer in Toledo.

Open casting for actors and non-actors is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the main location of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, 365 Michigan St. For more information, visit makrorama.com or call 210-355-2439.

Writer-director Magee’s 2015 drama Petting Zoo, which was co-produced by Carlsen, her husband, was named Best Narrative Feature at the BendFilm Festival in Oregon, which was recently named one of the top 50 film festivals in the country by MovieMaker magazine.
