■ If you’re into watching pint-sized wrestlers deliver a pounding upon one another, check out the All-Ages Micro Wrestling Show scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday at the Ohio Theatre and Events Center, 3114 Lagrange St.

The show is organized by the Micro Wrestling Federation. It is a full-scale, WWE-type event sporting an entire cast of wrestlers under 5 feet tall.

Founded in 2000, the MWF says it is the longest-running organization within the Little Person wrestling industry. It said no other company has performed in more events in the last 18 years.

The event is presented by Low Budget Rock Star Entertainment. After the show is a party with the wrestlers. Fans are encouraged to stick around and socialize. Tickets, which start at $15 and go to $500 for business sponsor packages, can be purchased through Eventbrite at bit.ly/2Ay50SU. For information, go to microwrestling.com.

Ripcord, a comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Lindsay-Abaire, is opening this weekend and will be performed by the Toledo Repertoire Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the 10th Street Stage, 16 10th St.

Tickets, which start at $9.75, can be purchased online at bit.ly/2m1BFe6. Shows continue each weekend through Jan. 28.

The play depicts a cantankerous woman at a senior living facility named Abby who is forced to share her quarters with a new arrival named Marilyn, an annoyingly chipper woman.

A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just their tenacity but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.
