TIFFIN — An 18-year-old Columbian High School student was arrested Thursday after Tiffin police said he made a vague threat to the school and community.

Seth D. Whitaker, was charged with disorderly conduct, after he allegedly posted an image to the police department’s Facebook page that said “Every one don’t come to school and work tomorrow.”

After he posted the message, police spoke with school officials, who had already removed him from class, according to police.

“This is believed to be an isolated incident and we do not believe there is a continued threat,” the police department said in a statement.
