FINDLAY — Findlay police Tuesday released a frantic 911 call they said came in while police and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene of a fatal shooting Sunday.

An older man can be heard talking to the 911 operator, with a younger man or a woman talking in the background. Police said the call came from a Findlay house where Jeffery L. Gary, 56, was found dead early Sunday after being shot twice. His death has been ruled a homicide.

The caller gave the address to the operator and said, “Come out, come out, come out! ... There were a bunch of guns and people and then they [expletive] shot him ... He’s dying.”

Then a younger man, or a woman, can be heard in the background, saying, “What [expletive] happened? He’s [expletive] dying! Oh, my God!”

The call lasts 66 seconds before the caller hangs up.

Police found the body about 1 a.m. Sunday inside a house in the 1300 block of Fox Street. According to a Findlay Police Department statement, multiple people with covered faces entered the house and confronted the victim.

By the time of the call, “police and EMS was already en route, so no attempts to re-contact the caller occurred,” police said in a prepared statement.

No suspects have been identified, according to police. Anyone with information may contact Findlay police at 419-424-7150.
