ADRIAN — A 12-year-old girl reported missing earlier this month has been safely located in Florida, according to the Adrian Police Department.
Brianna Longardner was located in Charlotte County, Florida.
The person suspected of taking her is in custody and awaiting extradition to Michigan, police said. That person’s identity will be released upon arraignment in district court after extradition.
The person is charged with kidnapping — custodial interference, a felony offense, which carries a maximum of one year in jail, police said.
