Man suffered a medical emergency while working in a hole in the ground at a construction site in North Toledo.

Toledo Fire and Rescue Department crews rescued a construction worker who suffered a reported medical emergency while working in a large excavation along the Toledo waterfront.
The incident, reported shortly before 2 p.m. occurred at the site of a large shaft being dug in Water Street near Lagrange Street as part of construction of a new underground sewage lagoon nearby.
The fire department subsequently reported that the worker had been extricated and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The patient has been extricated and is being transported to a local ER for further evaluation. Again, no injuries suffered as this was a medical issue. #ToledoFire crews are leaving the scene pic.twitter.com/3rq8uTkcR5
