Area manufacturers get $440,000 in help

COLUMBUS — The state Controlling Board approved $440,000 in assistance for northwest Ohio manufacturers, officials said in a news release.

The funding will help Toledo’s Center for Innovative Food Technology advance its work as a Manufacturing Extension Partnership program regional service partner.

MEP is a federal manufacturing assistance program that delivers services to companies nationwide.
