New shows on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon in October

    • Another month, another new round of additions — and cuts — from Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.

    Popular shows and movies like 30 Rock, Titanic, and Friday Night Lights have already left Netflix, but that makes way for the second season of Stranger Things (Oct. 27), perhaps the most anticipated October premiere.

    Hulu and Amazon are really playing into the Halloween theme, bringing on horror staple originals and remakes like The Amityville Horror, Carrie, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

    Below are some of the notable new and departing shows and movies from Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime.
