Walleye forward Tyler Sikura has been loaned to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.
Sikura, who is in his second season with Toledo, has 28 points with 13 goals and 15 assists in 34 games for the Walleye. Sikura, a native of Aurora, Ontario, ranks seventh on the team in scoring.
The 24-year-old played in four AHL games last season for the Portland Pirates. Sikura ranked second on the team in scoring for the Walleye last season. As a rookie, Sikura had 48 points (16 G, 32 A) in 68 games.
Sikura joins former Walleye coach Derek Lalonde, who was hired by Iowa last summer.
Sikura played four seasons at Dartmouth College, appearing in 125 games as he produced 36 goals and 56 assists.
Toledo (29-7-1) returns from the all-star break with a game at Indy on Friday night.
