Walleye goaltender Pat Nagle has been named the ECHL's goalie of the week.

Walleye goaltender Pat Nagle was named the ECHL's goalie of the week.

Nagle posted a 3-0-0 record with a 2.03 goals-against average and a save percentage of .933 in three appearances during the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

It is the sixth time in his career that he has received the weekly honor, tied for the third most in ECHL history.

The 30-year-old stopped 26 shots in a 3-2 win at Worcester on Oct. 31, made 33 saves in a 5-2 victory against Kalamazoo on Saturday, then turned aside 24 shots in a 3-2 win at Indy on Sunday.

Nagle, a native of Bloomfield, Mich., has won four consecutive starts. He has appeared in eight games this season and leads the ECHL with six wins while ranking second with a 1.97 goals-against average.

Nagle, who signed with the Walleye in the offseason, has appeared in 230 career ECHL games with Toledo, Fort Wayne, Idaho, and Florida. He has an overall record of 129-59-25 with 11 shutouts, a 2.59 goals-against average, and a save percentage of .912.

He also moved into 25th place on the ECHL's career shutouts list with his 3-0 win against Quad City in the Walleye's home opener Oct. 21. He has 11 career shutouts.

The Walleye play at Wheeling on Friday before hosting the Nailers on Saturday.
