    UNDER CONSTRUCTION

    Construction is under way for a 71,400-square-foot addition to the existing Cutting Edge Countertops factory on Flagship Drive in Perrysburg. The expansion will include a two-story office plus manufacturing and warehousing space. The company is investing $4 million in machinery and equipment and will add staff once the work is completed in the spring. Rudolph Libbe Inc. of Walbridge is the design-​build contractor.

    ACHIEVEMENTS

    ■ Mosser Construction Inc. of Fremont has received a bronze and marble Build Ohio Award by the Associated General Contractors of Ohio in the Renovation category for the University Hall Renovation Project at Bowling Green State University.

    ■ Justin Glanda has been appointed as corporate controller of Miller Diversified Inc. of Maumee.

    ■ GEM Inc. of Walbridge, part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, is ranked No. 2 in Ohio and No. 7 in Michigan among Engineering-News Record Midwest’s Top Specialty Contractors of 2017. The rankings are based on 2016 regional revenue.
