Holocaust survivor Paula Marks-Bolton, 90, of Detroit, is graduated with the 2017 class of Lake High School in Millbury, Ohio on May 21, 2017. "These terrible things happened to her, but hers was a message of love and forgiveness. She just kind of changed our lives", says graduating senior [from Lake H.S.] Parker Lake, of Bowling Green, one of the students who first heard her when he was in the eighth grade. The class flower is the white rose. incidentally, it is also the name of a small group of German university students who tried to organize resistance in 1942 to the Nazi policy of genocide. Betrayed to the Gestapo, the leaders were executed in 1943.
