Marco’s Pizza has been featured as the “Best of the Best” among U.S. pizza franchises in the May edition of Entrepreneur Magazine.

The Toledo-based chain also is touting its award as America’s favorite pizza chain, based on a consumer survey by Market Force Information. It was the first time Marco’s took the top spot, unseating take-and-bake chain Papa Murphy’s three-year run at the top of the list.

Marco’s says it is on track to add more than 100 locations this year and should hit 1,500 by 2020.
