Maumee church sets program on grief

First Presbyterian Church in Maumee is offering a 13-week GriefShare program for people who have experienced the death of a loved one beginning Sept. 5.

The nondenominational support group is designed to comfort those going through hardship, and offers biblical teachings on grief and recovery. Church members will provide a meal for participants at 6 p.m.

There is a small workbook fee, but the seminar is otherwise free.
