Police search for suspect in West Toledo bank robbery

  • FBI agents are searching for a man who robbed a West Toledo bank, the agency said. 

    The suspect at about 9:50 a.m. Thursday entered the Citizens Bank, 5911 Lewis Ave., where he demanded money from the tellers. 

    He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank, the FBI’s Cleveland Division said in a media release.

    There were no injuries.

    The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 5-foot 8-inches to 5-foot 10-inches tall, with a stocky build, dark hair, and brown eyes. He is described as having scruffy facial hair and tattoos on both the left and right side of his neck. 

    He was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, gray sweatpants with cargo pockets, a navy blue stocking cap, and tennis shoes, according to the media release.
