Two Detroit men were arrested Monday in Toledo following a sting in which they delivered about 280 grams of fentanyl to a local drug dealer who was cooperating with authorities, according to court documents.

Jesus Manuel Calderon Zazueta and Alifonso Zasueta, whose ages were not provided, are both charged in U.S. District Court in Toledo with drug conspiracy following their arrests Monday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The arrests stemmed from a tip from the cooperating dealer about a man later identified as Mr. Zazueta delivering cocaine and fentanyl to him for distribution in Toledo, according to a federal court affidavit. FBI agents working with the Toledo Metro Drug Task Force arranged for several recorded telephone calls and deliveries of cocaine and fentanyl before arresting Mr. Zazueta and Mr. Zasueta, who professed to be Mr. Zazueta’s cousin.

Both men were held Tuesday in the Lucas County jail, which had no information about their case status in federal court.
