Dogs killed Oct. 10 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

Chihuahua, fawn female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (large tumor); surrendered Oct. 10 by Thomas Grant, Airport Highway, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” gray and white female, unlicensed; growling and freezing when other dogs pass by; stray taken to shelter Sept. 27 by Lupe Garcia, East Oakland Street, Toledo, from Warsaw Street, Toledo.

Cane corso, gray and white male, unlicensed; aggressive/unsafe; stray picked up Oct. 4 by a control officer at 9845 Oak Place Court, Spencer Township.

German shepherd, orange male, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (10 years old, tumors, stiff gait); surrendered Oct. 4 by Scott Marckel, Earl Street, Toledo.

Parson Russell Terrier, white and tan male, licensed; owner requested euthanasia (15 years old, blind, getting nippy); surrendered Oct. 10 by Earl Price, Navarre Avenue, Oregon.

“Pit bull,” gray and white male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (congenital deformity of the rear legs, unable to walk, euthanasia recommended by a private veterinarian); surrendered Oct. 10 by Samuel Williams, Oakwood Avenue, Toledo.
