Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800. For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

“Pit bull” mix, brindle and white male, unlicensed; tried to bite veterinary staff; stray taken to shelter Dec. 11 by Duane Garland, Hamilton Street, Toledo, from the 1200 block of Hamilton Street, Toledo.

Cane corso, gray and white male, unlicensed; aggressive/unsafe; stray picked up Jan. 6 by a control officer at 4143 Brookside Road, Ottawa Hills.

Fox terrier, black and white male, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (paralyzed, no anal tone, unable to eliminate, self-inflicting trauma to hindquarters, grim prognosis); stray picked up Jan. 10 by a control officer at 3311 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo.

Chihuahua mix, tan male; stray taken to shelter Jan. 2 by Maegan Applegate, Burnham Avenue, Toledo, from Prescott and Horton streets, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” brindle and tan female; stray picked up Dec. 4 by a control officer in the 1700 block of Joffre Street, Toledo.
