Mercy Health receives trauma recovery grant

Mercy Health has received a $600,000 state grant to develop a trauma recovery center for crime victims at St. Vincent Medical Center, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office announced Thursday.
The grant is part of $111.8 million in awards funded by Ohio’s Victims of Crime Act and State Victim Assistance Act programs.
The trauma recovery center will “provide case management and support services to victims of crime who enter the emergency department,” the state announcement said in part.
