  • 2017 Marathon Classic champion In-Kyung Kim visited Highland Meadows on Monday ahead of this year’s LPGA tournament. Kim captured last year’s event with a winning score of 23-under par before going on to win her first career major two weeks later when she captured the Women’s British Open. Kim will lead a 2018 field that so far has 12 of the LPGA’s top 25 money winners — including Brooke Henderson, Michelle Wie, and Lexi Thompson — committed to play when it takes place July 9-15 in Sylvania.

    Kim spoke to The Blade about why she enjoys playing in Toledo.
