Michigan makes big jump in AP Poll, OSU stays at No. 4

Michigan made one of the biggest jumps in the Associated Press Top 25 this week.

The Wolverines jumped five spots, from No. 19 to No. 14. Ohio State stayed at No. 4.

Alabama, Georgia, and Clemson continue to hold down the top three positions. LSU leaped into the top five this week, passing Oklahoma, which needed overtime to beat Army.

Five Big Ten teams are ranked: No. 4 Ohio State, No. 9 Penn State, No. 14 Michigan, No. 15 Wisconsin, and No. 21 Michigan State. Notre Dame is ranked eighth.

The Buckeyes travel to State College on Saturday for a primetime showdown with the Nittany Lions. Michigan plays at Northwestern.
